Episode 1: The Beginning...

 

How it all started, the total strangers who helped make it happen, and the Project Highway team investigates a mysterious fire in Northeastern Colorado.

Project Highway discovera Salted Nut Rolls, home remedies, and CarHenge; also performs at the The TouchDown Club

Episode 3: THE DAKOTAS (part 1)

 

In this episode of "Project Highway America", Barb and Mike arrive in the Dakotas, ride along with the Rapid City Police Department, perform at a VFW Post, and almost get arrested in North Dakota.

Episode 4: THE DAKOTAS (part 2)

 

We explain the police incident in Bismarck, perform at the Main Room, and head to Devil's Tower.

Episode 5: COLORADO (part 1)

 

Barb and Mike return to Colorado after 3 weeks on the road, go to a Low-Rider Event in Denver, buy a new vehicle, and meet some incredible and different people as they begin their journey full-time.

 

Episode 6: COLORADO (part 2)

 

Project Highway hits the road and stops in Pueblo Colorado to work at Musso's Farm for a weekend during the Halloween Season. Pottery, vegetables, and perfoming while being driven to a pumpkin patch are highlighted.

 

Episode 7: ARIZONA (part 1)

 

Project Highway hits Arizona with stops in Scottsdale, Tempe, Fountain Hills, Chandler, and Florence. Their performances range from opening for the 74th Street Band to entertaining at a class of 1957 reunion.

Episode 8: ARIZONA (part 2)

 

Project Highway rolls into eastern Arizona, stays at the Triangle T Guest Ranch, explores the 1957 3:10 to Yuma movie set, performs for a local Eagles Aerie, and has an encounter with "The Thing?".

Episode 9: NEW MEXICO 

 

Project Highway cruises through New Mexico with stops in Las Cruces, Alamogordo, and Roswell. Motz gets a lump on the head and a poncho at Sears. Barb plays matchmaker to a couple just trying to enjoy their dinner. They meet with the president of Cattle Baron Restaurants, and they perform a no-holds barred set in Roswell for the Eagle Riders.

Episode 10: TEXAS  (part 1)

 

Project Highway hits the Lone Star State, stopping in Lamesa and Big Spring. Performing in a county that was "dry" only a few weeks prior, they make the best of it. Motz gets a tattoo, and Barb parties with the locals.

Episode 11: TEXAS  (part 2)

 

In this episode, Motz learns about Tumbleweeds, Project Highway gets pulled over by a Texas State Trooper, good fortune comes their way in the form of a miracle in Abilene, a major vehicle break down in North Texas, and an emergency detour back to Colorado leads to an impromptu show at Hart's Corner in Denver.

Episode 12: FLORIDA (pt 1)

THE ROAD TO FLORIDA

Needing to rush to Florida to get back on the time-schedule, Project Highway leaves Colorado and cruises through Kansas and Oklahoma, performs in Arkansas, makes stops in Louisiana before hitting Florida... where the van breaks down yet again.

Episode 14: FLORIDA  (part 3)

THE CENTRAL/EAST COAST

 

In this episode, Project Highway gets interviewed by Clear Channel Radio; they perform in Central Florida at XYZ Eastgate, the Pour House, and the AmVets; they visit the Auburndale Speedway; and Barb meets another of her ChaCha co-workers and long-time friends in person... who now happens to be part of a roller derby team in Melbourne, the  Molly Roger Rollergirls.

Episode 13: FLORIDA  (part 2)

THE GULF COAST

 

Project Highway finally gets out of the panhandle but the stress is starting to take its toll. Hitting the gulf coast of Florida, they perform at the Orioles in Ft Meyers. Even after Barb is hospitalized twice, they continue on, performing at Cadillac Jacks and The Dek Bar.
 

Episode 15: GEORGIA/ALABAMA

 

 

Finally out of Florida, Project Highway must now decide between going up North or heading West while in Georgia. Barbara Perez and Mike Motz perform at The Bloody Bucket in St. Mary's; talk with a transplant from Brooklyn, NY who's trying to bring his own vision to life; deal with turbulent weather and flood warnings, and stop to perform to a room full of playful regulars at Legends Sports Cafe in beautiful Eufaula, Alabama.

EPISODE 16 - MISSISSIPPI, LOUISIANA, AND TEXARKANA

 

Project Highway rolls into Starkville, Mississippi and performs at the towns favorite sports bar, STAGgerIn Sports Grill. While in Monroe, Louisiana, the two comedians interview 96 year old resident, Jack Allen and performs at former town icehouse in Texarkana.

EPISODE 17 - OKLAHOMA AND KANSAS

 

 

Project HIghway explores Antlers, Oklahoma and experiences their first "Good Ol' Boy" bar before moving on to Muskogee OK to perform inside a western dance club.  Kansas brought them interviews on 103.5 FM's The T-Bone show and The Uncle Joe Benson Show before performing at a bar that boasts it's very own ghost. 

EPISODE 18 - MISSOURI PART 1

 

 

While trying to deal with a banking nightmare, Project Highway arrives in Joplin, MO. We see the area devastated by the deadly 2011 tornado, have to make the most out of "camping" at an Indian casino,  then showcase a neighborhood bar that is popular across the state,  Undercliff Grill and Bar.

EPISODE 18 - MISSOURI PART 2

 

Continuing through Missouri, Project Highway arrives in the Southeast Missouri area, Motz has his first encounter with some down home rednecks, and Barb and Motz perform for an out of control crowd at He's Not Here bar in Dexter.

EPISODE 20 - MISSOURI PART 3

 

Before leaving Missouri, the two Project Highway comedians visit the Mississippi River and perform at Long Branch Bar in Essex. Tension between Motz and Perez reach a breaking point in Tennessee, and the two return to Missouri - only one of them continues on.
